Study of Veneral Disease (Syphilis) in Prostitutes

Abstract
|
|
|
With 369 prostitutes examined during the period of November 1, 1973 to´ January 30, 1974 at the Nambu City hospital which is located in the capital city of Seoul, clinical finding and serological tests were conducted for syphilis.
The results were, summarized as follows:
1) VDRL test indicated that the morbility the prostitutes checked was 35 cases.
2) VDRL positive cases at the age group of 23-28 years old were 36. 0 per cent of the total age groups.
